- partcipated at the 1988 Vienna Heumarkt tournament, where he wrestled as Joe McKanzie
- again he couldn't impress and was quickly dropped
- appeared in several movies in the early 90s, most notably Stone Cold featuring Brian Bosworth and Star Trek Enterprise as the Klingon mythological figure Fek'lhr
